2015 Nobel Peace Prize Nominee, Pope
Francis, Has the Spiritual Power to Bring Peace With Just a Five Minute Prayer
for Russia, Says A Devoted Roman Catholic Priest
According to the Catholic prophecy of Our Lady of Fatima, the public act
of the Consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, will prevent the
dire warning that says: "various nations will be annihilated."
NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y., Feb. 4, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- 2015 Nobel Peace Prize
Nominee, Pope Francis, began 2015 calling on all to pray for peace, and for
sincere devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Mother of Jesus. The emphasis
on world peace and devotion to Our Lady is exactly the message which Father
Nicholas Gruner, a Roman Catholic priest, has been spreading for the last 37
years.
However, Father Gruner and many other Catholics around the world believe
that world peace is impossible without the help of the Virgin Mary. For this
reason, they are begging the Pope to offer a special prayer that was requested
by Mary and that, according to Her promise, will guarantee world peace. The
five minute prayer is the Act of Consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart
of Mary.
The request by Mary for this act of devotion to Her Immaculate Heart comes
from Fatima, Portugal where Our Lady of Fatima, the Mother of Jesus, appeared
to three children in 1917. Father Gruner, who has dedicated his life to
spreading the message of Fatima including the daily recitation of the Rosary,
says that Mary came to Fatima almost 100 years ago to give mankind a warning
and to make a promise.
"We have the promise from heaven that peace will come when the Holy
Father, in union with all of the world's Catholic bishops, performs this solemn
five-minute prayer for Russia that Mary asked for," said Father Gruner.
This may sound strange or even absurd to non-Catholics, but Father Gruner
and millions of Catholics believe, world peace and the conversion of Russia
rest in the power of one man: the Pope. "The Pope has been given the power
from God to almost immediately put an end to all war and to bring peace to the
world," said Father Gruner.
According to the message of Fatima, the Beloved Mother of God Jesus came
down from Heaven and told the three children that She would come to ask for the
Consecration of Russia, and by this solemn single public act made by the Pope
and the Catholic Bishops, Russia would be converted and a period of peace would
be granted to the whole world.
If the consecration was not done, Our Lady of Fatima warned:
"Russia will spread its errors throughout the world, raising up
wars....The good will be martyred, the Holy Father will have much to suffer,
and various nations will be annihilated."
"Many do not realize that the future of the world depends on this act
by the Pope," said Fr. Gruner. "I am calling on all Catholics to beg
the Holy Father and the Bishops to obey this mandate from heaven."
The Consecration of Russia has been one of the most controverted aspects
of the visitation from Our Lady of Fatima. While several popes have undertaken
general consecrations of the world in response to this request (including Pope
John Paul II in 1982 and 1984), unfortunately, none of these consecrations have
fulfilled the specific requirements Our Lady of Fatima's request.
"The rush toward war in
Ukraine and the uprisings throughout the world are testaments to the fact that
the Consecration of Russia has not been done," said Father Gruner.
"Our Lady promised peace, and it is clear by the daily headlines, our
world is not at peace."
Even if there are some in the Catholic Church's hierarchy who believe the
consecration has already been done, Father Gruner said:
"They must agree that there would be no harm continuing to pray for
Russia, and consecrating it again to the Immaculate Heart of Mary — this time,
doing it exactly the way Mary asked for it."
Father Gruner continued: "Pope Francis, recognizing the importance of
the Blessed Virgin's appearance to the three children of Fatima, dedicated his
papacy to Our Lady of Fatima in 2013, and affirmed on January 1 the importance
of prayer, telling Catholics that: 'prayer is at the root of peace.'"
Father Gruner further stated: "There is literally zero costs to the
Church to do the Consecration of Russia. Compared to the trillions of dollars
spent each year on the military – worldwide, we cannot fathom why there is not
a greater outcry for this Consecration."
The Fatima apparitions have been approved by the Catholic Church for
decades. Our Lady of Fatima gave tangible proof of Her appearance with the
Miracle of the Sun, witnessed by 70,000 on October 13, 1917. The Miracle was
reported on by secular newspapers in 1917, and these articles reveal that the
sun danced and spun like a disc in the sky, defying the laws of science and
nature. Eye-witness testimonies can be easily accessed by a simple Internet
search under "Miracle of the Sun."
